The scalable reducer of the Tinéo brand is recalled from the market. At issue: parts of this accessory could cause safety problems
Manufactured since 2018 by the company Tinéo, the “rscalable bed eductor”Is recalled from the market. The brand tells consumers that “several elements (closing system, cords, etc.) could prove dangerous in the daily use of certain bed reducers”.
All reducers manufactured since that date are therefore withdrawn from sale and recalled from the market. The product reference is 703771, EAN 3275057037713. The reducer is gray, its pattern is star.

Prefer a bed without a device to contain a baby
It is also the occasion to remind people that reducers, baby wedges and bed bumpers are not recommended for sleeping the baby. The Health Insurance website, Ameli.fr, indicates not to use these devices because “they prevent the baby from moving, promoting the development of a deformity of the skull (plagiocephaly) and “they can impede breathing, increasing the risk of asphyxia death by burial”.
Prefer a standard baby bed, without accessories: it will be the best guarantee of safe sleep for your child.
