[Mis à jour le 9 novembre 2022 à 7h15] This Thursday, November 10 will be a black day for users of the metro, RER, buses and Parisian trams due to a strike at the RATP. The situation will be tense on the metro side with half of the lines completely closed (lines 2, 3bis, 5, 8, 10, 11 and 12) and the other half (lines 3, 4, 6, 7, 7bis, 9 and 13) “partially open only during peak hours (7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. / 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.) and some stations closed”, indicates the management of the RATP on the site of the Parisian transport network. A third of the buses will be stationary all day (except for the Noctilien). On the other hand, tram traffic “will be almost normal on all lines with the exception of lines T2 and T5”.

Concerning the RER, the RATP specifies that there will be on average one RER A out of three over the whole of the day, with one train out of two during peak hours. On average, there will be one out of two RER B trains at peak times and one out of three trains at off-peak times. “The final transport plan will also be the subject of an updated press release on Wednesday morning”, adds the RATP.

This Thursday, November 10, 2022, traffic is announced by RATP management as “very severely disrupted” on the metro and lines A and B of the RER partially managed by RATP. Traffic will also be “disturbed” on the bus and tram network in Île-de-France. Here is the detailed forecast line by line:

The RATP unions have called to join the fourth day of general and interprofessional strike initiated by the CGT for the increase in wages in the face of inflation. Dn a press release published on October 24, the inter-union of RATP drivers (FO, CGT, Solidaires and Unsa) announced that it was aiming zero metro, zero RER“. The main demand is still the general increase in wages, but also to protest against the lack of staff and the working conditions which are deteriorating. “Whatever the management says, its share of responsibility is undeniable in the situation of our working conditions in perpetual deterioration due to lack of anticipation”, relates the inter-union in its press release. And to add: “The posture of immobility of the Directions of the metro and the RER fertilizes a fertile ground for a conflict that our Trade Union Organizations will carry and lead with determination, in conjunction with the driving agents.”

The strike notice at the RATP was filed from Wednesday November 9, 2022 at 10 p.m. to Friday November 11 at 7 a.m. Disturbances could therefore also occur on Wednesday evening and early Friday morning. The press release can be viewed below
