In the American dressing room, the deceased hockey player has a memorial site with his jersey number 13. Several of the players have also talked about how they play to honor Johnny Gaudreau.

Three Kronor-back Andersson also thinks of his friend every day and plays for him out on the ice. They were both teammates in Calgary Flames and got a nice relationship together.
– I have him enrolled in one of my skates, I play for him every match. He is in my thoughts every day. It is so awful what happened, he tells the evening newspaper and tells more about their relationship.
– We were both best man on (Andrew) Mangiapane’s wedding. Then we talked a little about Four Nations, but most of the talk was about going on vacation in Europe next summer. We would play golf in Spain and the kids would have the chance to play together, we have children of the same age. Then we were always fucking with each other when we played against each other, I often told him that he would never have left Calgary.

Johnny and his brother Matthew Gaudreaualso a hockey species, perished after an alcohol -affected driver drove them when they cycled from their sister’s dinner in connection with her wedding a day later. Right now, a well -known trial is underway against the suspected offender.
– My wife and I talked about it recently, I get nauseous when I read about what comes out. When I see it he, or his lawyers, say – then I just get annoyed. I just hope that justice is shipped for Johnny and the family, I want it to just be over for their sake. They must have the chance to move on, says Rasmus Andersson in the interview.
– It’s a long process, but we just think of Meredith and Johnny’s parents and children. We just want it to be over and that he (the suspected man) will sit in jail for as long as possible.
