Canadian rapper Tory Lanez rap artist has been sentenced to ten years in prison by Megan Thee Stallion from shooting.

Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Petersonshot American Megan Thee Stallion, aka real name Megan Pete towards 2020. Pete was hit in the legs by bullets.

Pete told the court about the events of July 2020, when he walked out of the car he had been in with Peterson. At that time, Peterson had started to shoot Pete in the legs and demanded that he dance.

Tory Lanez was found guilty of the crimes in December 2022. He was found guilty of assault with a semi-automatic handgun, grossly negligent use of a weapon and carrying an unlicensed and loaded firearm.

The sentence was announced in the Los Angeles court the night before Wednesday Finnish time.

Pete has said that he has been subjected to hate speech since he went public about the incident. Many well-known male rappers, such as 50 Cent and Drake, specifically took Peterson’s side in the case.

In court, Pete harshly criticized Peterson’s actions after the shooting incident.

– He paid bloggers for spreading false information. He treated my trauma as a joke, even though I could have died. He blamed the system, the press and recently he used his childhood trauma to justify his actions, Pete said.

Peterson told the court that he deeply regrets what he did.

– The victim was my friend. The victim is someone I still care about to this day, Peterson said.

Peterson plans to appeal the verdict.
