Several municipalities have previously expressed their concerns about the new approach route. In Amersfoort, a large majority of the city council opposed the plans. And residents in De Bilt, Houten Soest, Woudenberg and Zeist are also concerned. In Baarn, such a motion was withdrawn at the end of March because, according to council members, the new approach route ensures a fairer distribution of the nuisance nationwide.
