Prison for the so-called leader of the terrorist organization PKK in Germany

According to the statement made by the court, 59-year-old Abdullah Ö was sentenced to 4 years and 5 months in prison for “being a member of a foreign terrorist organization”.

In the court’s decision, it was stated that Abdullah Ö has been in the top staff of the terrorist organization PKK in Germany since August 2019 and has held managerial positions.

In the decision, it was stated that Abdullah Ö was operating as the so-called regional officer in Stuttgart, Hessen and Saarland, instructing the PKK cadres and activists affiliated with him and controlling their implementation.

In the decision, which stated that the person in question participated in the organization of propaganda activities and meetings, controlled the fundraising activities for the organization and contacted “potential donors”, it was noted that Abdullah Ö collected 900,000 euros for the terrorist organization in this way between June 2020 and April 2021.

In the decision, it was stated that Abdullah Ö reported to the so-called European officials of the organization and fulfilled his instructions.

The court also stated that Abdullah Ö was sentenced to 3 years in prison for participating in the activities of the terrorist organization PKK and financing terrorism in France before 2019.

On the other hand, Abdullah Ö., who was arrested in Germany in May 2021. and the Federal Prosecutor’s Office has the right to appeal the decision. (AA)
