LEERDAM – A 20-year-old boy from Hoogland has been convicted of starting four fires in Leerdam and the surrounding area. Last year an empty house, a car, an electric bicycle and a hay bale went up in flames. According to the Utrecht court, it has been proven that the man, who lived in the area at the time, set it on fire.
