The coast guard is investigating crimes after the passenger ferry Marco Polo ran aground in Pukaviksbuket on Sunday morning.
After the ship accident, two people in the crew were suspected of negligence in maritime traffic. In addition, there are indications that the ship was not seaworthy, the prosecutor told TT.
Press meeting about the oil spill
Due to the oil spill in the Pukavik bay, a press conference will be held in Hörvik harbor on Thursday.
Environment and Climate Minister Romina Pourmokhtari and Civil Defense Minister Carl-Oskar Bohlin will attend the press conference.
