Mathias Krümmel is resigning as CEO of Postnord Sweden with immediate effect. This is stated by Postnord in a press release on Wednesday.
He has been employed at Postnord for 23 years and held several leading roles.
Ylva Ekborn takes over as acting CEO. She has previously been head of Postnord Accelerate as well as president and CEO of Postnord Strålfors.
– I have worked together with Mathias for many years and want to thank him for his valued efforts for PostNord, says Annemarie Gardshol, President and CEO of Postnord in a statement.
– The strategy we have established as well as the organizational change implemented in Sweden under Mathias’ leadership, with a clear focus on the business, has laid a solid foundation for future growth and profitability in the Swedish market.
Postnord states that it has started a process to appoint a permanent CEO after Krümmel’s departure.
