Poodles after fatal accidents – may tighten rules for A tractors

Four dead in just a few weeks. Many more have been injured, including three hospitalized after the recent accident in Anderslöv. In 2020, new rules came which meant that it became easier to own an A tractor, since then the number of vehicles has increased significantly, and accidents have skyrocketed.

Now the Director-General of the Swedish Transport Agency is puddling and telling P4 Väst that the new rules were drawn up too quickly. The authority has reviewed the rules they introduced and the report is due next week. The Swedish Transport Agency will then propose several rule changes, they tell TV4 Nyheterna.

That many drivers drive illegally was clearly shown in the Värmland police’s operation last week. Basically no one was driving legally. A total of 85 A tractors or mopeds were checked. Among other things, 40 went there for illegal driving, when many vehicles were tuned.
