Almost two weeks ago, the municipality closed a pre-school center in Overvecht and an after-school center in Leidsche Rijn. The childcare centers were not registered with the National Childcare Register, although such a permit is mandatory. Without registration it is impossible to assess whether the childcare meets the quality requirements and whether it is responsible childcare. Moreover, there will be no screening of the employees who care for the children.
