Police chief on gang violence: “The situation is inhumane”

The explosion in Fullerö probably has a connection to the national wave of violence, according to Catarina Bowall, head of command at the Uppsala police.

– The situation is inhumane, incomprehensible and limitless. Crime has reached a scale we have not seen before, she says at a press conference.

Several of the acts are believed to have originated in an internal conflict in the criminal network Foxtrot, led by the “Kurdish Fox”. This also applies to last night’s crime in Fullerö north of Uppsala.

Ulf Johansson, police chief in region Mitt, states that today they have 35 detainees for the latest events.
