Officers with the Perth County OPP were alerted to a vehicle that was seen driving in a concerning manner on Jan. 18 just after 9 pm After speaking with the driver, police charged the 35-year-old with operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs and operation while impaired-blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).

The woman was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario court of justice in Stratford on Feb. 12 to answer to the charges. The woman’s license was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for a week.

Stratford man charged with impaired

Provincial police charged a Stratford man after a traffic stop in Mitchell.

Perth County OPP stopped the vehicle Jan. 20 around 11 pm After an investigation, police charged the 66-year-old driver with operation while impaired-alcohol and drugs.

The man was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Feb. 26 to respond to the charge. His license was suspended 90 days and his vehicle was impounded for a week.
