A Hamilton man has been charged with assault following a disturbance on Saturday in Simcoe.
Norfolk OPP were called to a Kent Street South address at about 11:45 am No injuries were reported.
In addition to assault, a 50-year-old man is charged with uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm; and disobeying order of court.
Police charge driver after call from citizen
A 64-year-old woman from Minesing, Ontario has been charged after a Good Samaritan called police with a traffic complaint.
On Sunday at about 3:40 pm, Norfolk OPP were called to Brantford Road in Norfolk County after receiving a 911 call about a possible impaired driver.
The accused is charged with operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs; and operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus).
ATV stolen from property, say police
Police are asking for the public’s help to locate a stolen ATV.
On Sunday at about 12:15 pm, Norfolk OPP investigated a theft at a Norfolk County Highway 24 East address.
Police say a green 2008 Arctic Cat 500 four-by-four was taken in the early morning hours of Sunday.
