A police officer is sentenced by the Uppsala District Court for serious child pornography offenses after producing, distributing and possessing child pornography, local media reports.

A large number of images and videos were found on the man’s computer. He has confessed to the crime. However, he claims not to have looked at the grossest thing found on the computer.

The police officer is sentenced to one year and nine months in prison. The verdict takes into account that the man lost his job. He resigned himself, but the court judges that he had been dismissed anyway, writes SVT Uppland.
