Pokémon GO: Special Research for Community Day

Every month at the Community Days in Pokémon GO you can buy an event ticket that brings you special research. We at MeinMMO will show you what tasks and rewards are behind it and whether buying a ticket is even worth it.

What research is it about? Every month a Community Day takes place in Pokémon GO, where a predetermined Pokémon takes center stage and is accompanied by various bonuses. You also have the option of buying a paid event ticket, which in turn gives you special research into the Community Day Pokémon.

We have summarized for you below what tasks and rewards generally await you with this type of research, whether the purchase is worth it and what content the latest research has in store for you.

Overview of possible content of special research

All tasks & rewards: The Community Day special research consists of a total of 4 panels each month, each with 3 tasks, with the exception of the last page. This has always already been solved, which is why you just have to collect the rewards there.

Over the past few months, the tasks and rewards have remained largely the same. There were only corresponding adjustments to the quests for Pokémon with only one development level. For this reason, it can be assumed that the following tasks and rewards await you in the future:

And there may also be other content at Community Day Classic from time to time. Depending on the monster, you can also receive development items or mega energy there.

Is the Community Day ticket worth it?

This is what you need to know: As you can see in our general overview of the Community Day ticket tasks and rewards, you will receive a whole range of different items. If you were to buy these in the in-game shop, they would be significantly more expensive than the ticket price. In addition to 45 different balls, 12 berries and 3 special candies, you are guaranteed the following items:

  • a smoke that costs 40 coins in the in-game shop, i.e. around 0.40 euros
  • a rocket radar, which is worth 200 coins, which corresponds to around 2.00 euros
  • and one of the following items:
  • Lucky egg with a value of 80 coins (0.80 euros)
  • Star piece with a value of 100 coins (1.00 euros)
  • Lock module with a value of 100 coins (1.00 euros)
  • Incubator worth 150 coins (1.50 euros)
  • In addition, the ticket also gives you a total of 7,500 stardust, 10,000 XP, 100 candies of the respective C-Day Pokémon and 8 encounters with the Community Day Pokémon and its evolutions. The encounters in particular can be particularly worthwhile, as monsters from research are usually somewhat stronger than most specimens in the wild.

Who should buy the ticket? The ticket is particularly worthwhile for trainers who wanted to buy the items anyway or are hoping for a strong example from research. If you don’t need the items, you can also play Community Day without a ticket.

Where can you buy the ticket? You can find the ticket in the in-game shop a few days before the respective Community Day for around 1 euro. Alternatively, you can purchase it with other items as part of the Community Day Hyperbox in the Pokémon GO web shop for 5.99 euros.

As soon as the exact content of the research is known, we will add it here for you.
