It’s not uncommon for players to share good experiences that happened to them in a game related to other players – after all, not everyone we meet online is toxic and unfriendly. Now a World of Warcraft player has shared a story of being positively surprised by a fellow human.
Why is the player overwhelmed? The Reddit user “TK_GX” says he has been a WoW player for years, but he has only recently started dealing with pet battles. This made the player buy a level 25 pet for around 20,000 gold on the auction house.
A few days after purchasing the pet, TK_GX received an email from the seller. He is said to have thanked him for the purchase in the message and also sent him three blue gift boxes and some food items.
In the gift boxes were three level 1 pets of blue rarity, each worth between 2,000 and 3,000 gold – almost half of what TK_GX paid for the purchased level 25 pet.
On top of that, the email reportedly said TK_GX would get two achievements if he eats the food items he got from the vendor. According to TK_GX, that worked exactly as written in the message.

What does the player say about the gifts? TK_GX expressed his gratitude for the gifts on Reddit, noting that he didn’t mind paying for the pet as it helped him a lot. He even sent the seller an additional 1,000 gold as a token of his gratitude.
Also, TK_GX says that this kind gesture from the other player made his day. After all, in all the years he’s been playing WoW, it’s never happened to him that someone else unexpectedly gives him things.
It made my day. I have never received this type of mail or message by accident. I was very grateful and replied that I appreciated the kindness. I even sent an additional 1,000 gold to show how grateful I was.
