It has been talked about for years and has led to fierce discussions: plans for windmills in the Rijnenburg polder. With the presentation of a so-called draft zoning plan, the municipality took one of the last steps last week for placing a total of four turbines in the area. The next hurdle is participation: Utrecht residents can let us know what they think of it. But just like in politics, opinions are divided there too.
