(Finance) – A meeting was held today at Palazzo Piacentini, headquarters of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, on the development prospects of the steelmaking hub of Piombinoas a follow-up to the conversation that took place in recent days between Minister Adolfo Urso and Sajjan Jindal, president and CEO of the JSW group companies.
Present at the meeting, in addition to the representatives of Mimit and of Jswthe mayor of Piombino, Francesco Ferrari, Paolo Tedeschi, representing the President of the Tuscany Region Eugenio Giani, the president of the Port Authority of Piombino, Luciano Guerrieri, the competent offices of the State Property Agency and the representatives of the steel companies Metinvest and Danieli .
The meeting allowed us to explore various development hypotheses now being examined by the technical offices: following these investigations the table will be reconvened.
