Pettersson three-goal shooter as Vancouver turned

The Swede began his goal shooting in the first minute of the second period, which meant 2–2. The audience then got to see another goal signed by Pettersson and the home team was thus in the lead before the final act.

There, JT Miller struck after barely five minutes and made it 4–2 with one less man on the ice. At the end of the game, Nashville pressed and took out the goaltender in an attempt to reduce.

But it wasn’t to be – instead, Elias Pettersson was able to complete his hat-trick in an empty net, his fifth goal of the season.

In the other NHL game of the night, Andreas Englund and Adrian Kempe each had a goal as their Los Angeles beat Toronto 4-1 on the road.

Of Toronto’s six Swedish players who were in the squad, only William Nylander managed to score when he assisted John Tavares, which was the home team’s only goal. Nylander has thus scored points in nine straight games.
