Person shot by police in Oslo

During the night of Sunday around 03:00, Norwegian police carried out an extensive operation against a hotel in the Grönland district of Oslo, reports VG.

– In connection with the operation, the police fired a shot at a person. The person is conscious and receiving treatment, says operations manager Sven Christian Lie in a press release, according to the Norwegian newspaper.

The Oslo police write on Twitter that they will remain at the scene “for a longer time”, and that the intervention does not pose any danger to other people.
