On Tuesday, January 30, a German man entered Spotify’s office on Regeringsgatan in Stockholm. The man was visiting Sweden. He had with him a glass of feces diluted with water. Once at the reception, the man smiles and throws the contents over the reception desk and those sitting behind.
According to The Express the man is said to have said in police interrogation that “the algorithms, i.e. the playlists from the streaming services, are ruining my life”. The man reportedly said he was depressed and “couldn’t think anymore”. Despite this, the man has stated that he has not visited psychiatry.

The feces hit four people
The man is charged with molesting the four people who were hit by the excrement and damaging Spotify AB. One of those hit was a security guard sitting behind the counter. She says that she was hit by the faeces on her face and hair, among other things.
– In the hair, on the face, and on my work clothes. My personal Airpods were on the table and also the computer belonging to Spotify. Also got faeces on my private mobile phone, she tells Expressen.
