Paul Pelosi has been able to leave the hospital in San Francisco, after an attack in which he was hit in the head with a hammer, announced his wife, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi.
The 82-year-old Paul Pelosi is receiving continued care and the recovery process is expected to be prolonged.
A man is in custody for the crime, suspected of planning to kidnap Nancy Pelosi and break her kneecaps.
