Pauline Ducruet opens a temporary Alter store in Paris

From November 7, 2022 to January 31, 2023, Alter, Pauline Ducruet’s brand, will open a pop-up store at Printemps Haussmann with an exclusive circus-themed collection.

It’s on “7th heaven”, the floor of the department store dedicated to second hand et al’upcycling, which will settle the fall-winter 2022 collection of Alter. As the theme of Christmas of Printemps Haussmann is the circusPauline Ducruet was inspired to imagine an exclusive collection, offered for sale in the department store. “The theme of the circus echoes Monaco, where the circus festival takes place every year, and it’s a world in which I have been immersed since I was little. It’s a world that makes you dream and we wanted translate its Alter-style codes”, explains Pauline Ducruet. For the occasion, the designer imagined a unique design for her logo and used the red silk satin, emblematic of Christmas. And if this capsule has its place on the green floor of Printemps Haussmann, it is because it is made from dormant tissues from the brand’s previous collections. The pieces will be on sale within the department store at prices ranging from 80 euros the organic cotton T-shirt with 560 euros the jumpsuit in red silk.
