The government and the Sweden Democrats are open to introducing more double days in parental leave, i.e. days when both parents are off at the same time.
This is clear from the budget bill, SR Ekot reports.
Social Security Minister Anna Tenje (M) says that it is good for the children to have both parents at home and that rehabilitation is facilitated for women with problems after childbirth.
There is still no proposal for a certain number of days. Today, parents are entitled to 30 double days per child.
