Oscars Reims resists and progresses

The Reims coached by the Spanish Óscar García Junyent has resisted with ten players in the victory against Angers (0-1) at the Raymond Kopa stadium. A new win that prolongs their improvement in Ligue 1. Reims has now gone four games without losing. They have distanced themselves from the relegation zone that threatened them in the early part of the season.

Óscar’s team took the lead after half an hour with a goal from Alexis Flips from a pass from Arber Zaneli. But ten minutes later he was down to one player after Anastasios Donis was sent off. The visiting team resisted and dealt their rival the sixth consecutive defeat that brings them closer to the relegation zone from which Brest is fleeing, now nine of the last three places.

Monaco returns to defeat; The Lorient breathes

Monaco returned to the old days in a black week for their interests. After winning on the last date in Marseille has been defeated again in Ligue 1 against Strasbourg (1-0), who made the goal of Aleksander Djiku profitable after a good action by Kevin Gameiro.

Belgian Phillip Clement’s team closes a few days to forget. The defeat against Strasbourg, which distances him from the continental zone, joins last Thursday’s, against Braga, in the first leg of the Europa League round of 16.

Lorient came out of relegation and complicated their rival, Clermont, who they beat at the Gabriel Montpied stadium (0-2). Christpohe Pelissier’s team moved away from the last places thanks to goals, in four minutes, from Malian Ibrahima Kone and Leo Petrot. Lorient is one point away from relegation. Clermont is two points away. Metz, who drew goalless at their stadium against Lens, is penultimate, with salvation at four.
