“The choir is based in Sweden and I think they have a fantastic sound. It’s dark, compelling and emotional,” says the artist in a press release.
British Gabriel has since leaving the band Genesis in 1975 invested in his solo career and released eleven albums. “I/O” is the first album in 20 years to contain only newly written music.
“This is home”, is the tenth and last to be released from the project and also the song where Orphei Drängar participates. The other songs have been released during the year, one at each full moon.
— We recorded our games at home in Alfvénsalen in Uppsala early this spring. Peter Gabriel supervised the whole thing via link, the choir’s chairman Magnus Sjögren has told Uppsala New Newspaper.
