(Finance) – The fiber optics Of Open Fiber also arrived in San Giuliano Teatino, Palmoli, Pretoro, San Buono and Schiavi d’Abruzzo. Families, professionals and businesses can already access the best connectivity available on the market, starting today with an extra opportunity: win a gift voucher thanks to the initiative “Open Fiber the choice that rewards you”. In fact, all residential users in these municipalities who activate an ultra-fast connection through Open Fiber partner operators by 31 October will be able to receive a 100 euro voucher to be converted into a Gift voucher Amazon.it, a MediaWorld gift card or a fuel voucher. The deadline for requesting prizes is December 31st.
The ultra-fast network available today in San Giuliano Teatino, Palmoli, Pretoro, San Buono and Schiavi d’Abruzzo reaches 5847 real estate units through the technology FTTH (Fiber-to-the-home, the optical fiber extended up to the inside of buildings), the only solution capable of guaranteeing connection speeds of 10 Gigabits per second. This is a strategic investment for the digitalisation of the territory which does not burden the budget of the Municipalities involved. L’technological infrastructure, in fact, was financed with regional and state funds as part of the Ultra Broadband Plan (BUL) managed by Infratel Italia, a company of the Ministry of Business and Made in Italy, with the coordination of the Abruzzo Region. The new network is and will remain public property.
