(Finance) – Cometa Srl, the offeror, has the fee increased of the public takeover offer (OPA) totalitarian voluntary on shares Services Italylisted on Euronext STAR Milan and leader in the sector of integrated rental, washing and sterilization services of textile materials and surgical instruments for hospital facilities, from 1.65 euros to 1.92 euros and, therefore, of 0.27 euros (+16.4%), for each share tendered in acceptance of the offer.
Furthermore, it has agreed with Borsa Italiana the extension of the initial acceptance period of 5 open market days and therefore the membership period will end at 5.30 pm (Italian time) on 19 January 2024. The payment date will be 26 January 2024, corresponding to the fifth trading day following the closure of the new membership period.
The decision to increase the fee “constitutes a further effort on the part of the offeror towards the shareholders of Servizi Italia, which takes into account the observations and assessments made by the issuer and confirms the full conviction of the offerer regarding the project aimed at delisting”, we read in a note
The new fee incorporates a premium equal to 62.1% compared to the official price of the shares recorded on 8 November 2023 (last trading day before the announcement date of the offer). Given the new fee, the maximum overall value will increase to 21,744,071.04 euros.
