To this day, HBO is considered maybe the highest quality serial forge from the United States. The broadcaster has hits like The Sopranos, The Wire or Six Feet Under – Death is always created, without which the series landscape would not be the same.

With a new deal, many classics from the acclaimed US channel are now coming to Netflix for the first time. At least one cult series from the fantasy genre was also confirmed for Germany.

True Blood is coming to Netflix with us – and maybe more

According to Deadline, a new deal between Warner Bros. Discovery and Netflix will bring the HBO series Band of Brothers, The Pacific, Insecure, Ballers, Six Feet Under and True Blood to the US streaming service.

As confirmed by Deadline, the deal for True Blood also applies outside of America. The series ran for 7 seasons from 2008 to 2014 and is based on the novels by Charlaine Harris. The story follows Sookie (Anna Paquin), a mind-reading waitress who finds herself in a brutal world in Louisiana alongside vampires Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Eric (Alexander Skarsgård).

As well as True Blood, it would be great if the Warner Bros. Discovery deal brought the masterful war series Band of Brothers to Netflix subscriptions. With a Average rating of 8.6 from the Moviepilot community the production is considered the absolute highlight of the genre.

When is True Blood streaming on Netflix?

An exact streaming start for the fantasy series is not yet known.
