As the leading actress in the Hunger Games films, Jennifer Lawrence finally became a mega-star in Hollywood. The franchise is considered by many fans to be one of the best sci-fi series out there. At Netflix you can currently stream all four parts of the Hunger Games series by subscription.

Like Amazon Prime, where the franchise is also available, the streaming provider will soon be dropping the sci-fi saga. You can watch The Hunger Games – The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games – Catching Fire and The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 1 & The Hunger Games – Mockingjay Part 2 on Netflix only until August 31, 2023 stream. The timing is unfavorable, especially because of the upcoming prequel.

The Hunger Games series was a box office triumph

In the dystopian world of movies, youngsters must compete in deadly hunger games every year. Young Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) fills in for her little sister. During the fight, a romance develops between her and her district partner, Peeta (Josh Hutcherson). Eventually, Katniss sparks a rebellion against the ruthless system.

The film adaptations of the novel became financial successes at the worldwide box office. The four parts of the saga could, according to Box Office Mojo altogether nearly $3 billion import. So it’s a good thing that author Suzanne Collins published another prequel story in 2020.

The Hunger Games prequel hits theaters in 2023

In the prelude to the Katniss Everdeen saga, the later Panem President and villain Snow (Tom Blyth) and his fighter Lucy Gray Baird (Rachel Zegler) are the focus of the plot. The Hunger Games – The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes starts on November 16th 2023 at our cinema.
