Noticeable complaint from users after iOS 165

The new iOS version iOS 16.5, which Apple has recently introduced, is on the agenda this time with an interesting problem claim. According to reports, many users on the MacRumors Forums, Apple Support Community, and Reddit have suggested that Apple’s Lightning to USB 3 camera adapter does not work with iPhones and iPads that have been updated to iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5.

CLAIM “DOES NOT WORK WITH IOS 16.5”

The adapter has a USB-A port for connecting a camera, microphone, or other USB-powered accessory to the iPhone or iPad, and a Lightning port for charging the iPhone or iPad. But on social media and forums, users claim that as of iOS 16.5 and iPadOS 16.5, the adapter no longer powers any device connected to either port.

The issue that users are claiming is most likely caused by a software bug that should be addressed in a future iOS release.

However, the underlying cause is unknown.

Although Apple offers the first beta version of iOS 16.6 to developers, it is estimated that there are weeks before the release of the update.

For this reason, it is considered that the company may release an iOS 16.5.1 update to fix the error early.
