The police in Norway are looking for a convicted double murderer who did not return to prison after a leave, Norwegian media reports.
He is wanted by the police in Norway, and also internationally. He was sentenced in 2012 to 21 years in prison, the harshest punishment of Norwegian law.
– He would be back at 15, he did not come back as it was decided, says Egil Gabrielsen, prison chief in Trondheim, to Norwegian VG.
– He was immediately wanted by the police.
The Swedish police have been informed of the incident by the Norwegian police.
– All Swedish police regions have received information about the search, says Kristian Ljungberg, press spokesperson for the police, to Aftonbladet.
