The North Macedonian government decided to declare a day of mourning in the country on 13 February due to the earthquakes in Turkey and Syria.

North Macedonian Prime Minister Dimitar Kovachevski announced on his social media account his decision to declare a day of mourning on February 13 in the country.

Kovachevski said, “We have declared tomorrow a day of mourning in memory of those who lost their lives in the devastating earthquakes that struck the border region of Turkey and Syria. The thoughts and prayers of the citizens of North Macedonia are with the relatives and families of those who lost their lives.” used the phrases.
