Since the water of the canal flows all the way around again, the city park has attracted a lot of visitors. It is centrally located, you can catch many hours of sunshine and there were sanitary facilities. In addition, in recent years there has been a major role for the aforementioned pavilion, the Jeu de Boules bar and a rental company for canoes and sups. According to the municipality, this first phase was very successful, the park has changed from “an uncanny place to a valuable place in the city”.
