At four o’clock on the night of Friday, a young man was found shot outside on Heleneholm in Malmö. Later in the morning, word came that the man had died and that the police were investigating the incident as a murder.
No arrests
As of 2 p.m. on Saturday, no suspect had yet been arrested for the crime. Prosecutor and preliminary investigation leader Jeanette Sprimont is sparing with information about both the man and the incident.
She says that the police continue to work at full speed during the weekend, to map out what happened and collect evidence that may be found.
Looking for witnesses to people on mopeds
– There is not much information I can provide about the act, but we have information about sightings of two people on a moped in connection with the incident.
She encourages people with sightings of two people on or with a moped somewhere in Malmö on the night of the murder to contact the police.
– There may be persons of interest to the investigation in one way or another, says Jeantte Sprimont.
