Nils van der Poel was a complete success.
Then the man of achievements retired in record time.
Now the 28-year-old returns for a completely new challenge.

We have seen him win the SVT program “Master of Masters” and he has also lectured and worked as an ambassador for Skistar. But now there is new information about the 28-year-old, and this autumn a completely new challenge awaits.
The new challenge
Nils has made the decision to start studying at Karlstad University, reports the local newspaper Värmlands Folkblad.
– That’s right, Nils will study the basic course in political science as an independent course. It is of course funny that he has chosen to study political science at Karlstad University, says Idris Ahmediwho is responsible for the course, to VF.

Van der Poel will study throughout the autumn and the course includes political philosophy, domestic politics and international politics with a focus on conflict, peace and human rights.
– The political science education at Karlstad University aims to get students to think broadly, deeply and critically about politics. Critical thinking involves, among other things, developing an ability to question assumptions and common perceptions about politics. In that respect, he has chosen the right course, says course leader Ahmedi to the local newspaper.
