Ice hockey player Kasperi Kapanen is suspected of aggravated drunk driving. According to ‘s information, the matter was brought before the Pohjois-Savo district court in August.

According to information obtained by , Finnish NHL and national team ice hockey player Kasperi from Kapa is suspected of aggravated drunk driving.

The case has been brought up in the district court of Pohjois-Savo on August 23, and the case is scheduled to be heard in the district court in February 2024.

The prosecutor will not comment on the course of events to until the matter becomes public in connection with the court hearing in February. has not reached Kapas or his agent Markus Lehtoa to comment on the matter.

The 27-year-old Kapanen currently represents the St. Louis Blues in the NHL, where he moved from the Pittsburgh Penguins in the spring. He has also played in the NHL in the jersey of the Toronto Maple Leafs. Pittsburgh booked Kapanen in the NHL in the summer of 2014 with the number 22.
