New trailer unleashes 50-year-old horrors

The Exorcist is not only considered a horror film masterpiece, but is notorious for the extreme effect it has on its audience. Later this year The sequel The Exorcist: Confession is supposed to come after 50 years. The new trailer sees original heroine Chris MacNeil (Ellen Burstyn) meet the demon who tormented her daughter in the 1973 film.

In The Exorcist: Confession, a demon possesses two little girls. Father Victor Fielding (Leslie Odom Jr.) seeks help from Chris MacNeil, who endured a similar ordeal decades ago. In the new trailer, the demon taunts MacNeil with the fate of her daughter from part 1.
