New trailer for Stephen King film adaptation with nightmare monster

A new one will soon be added to the many Stephen King film adaptations. The Boogeyman, directed by Rob Savage and produced by Stranger Things creator Shawn Levy, is based on the horror master’s short story of the same name.

Before the theatrical release in early June, you can now see the new trailer in the player above, in which the famous nightmare figure up to mischief.

The story revolves around the teenage Sadie (Sophie Thatcher) and her little sister Sawyer (Vivien Lyra Blair). Both have to deal with the loss of their mother. Her father is the therapist Will (Chris Messina), who has to deal with the loss himself.

With a new desperate patient suddenly arrives horrible monster into the family home that feeds on their fear.
