The Flash is already considered one of the big blockbuster hopes of the summer. The DC film has everything that makes up contemporary franchise cinema: several superheroes, a multiverse and a lot of nostalgia. So far, the controversy surrounding Ezra Miller has hardly dampened the hype. The new trailer for the DC event has now been released at Cinema-Con.

What is The Flash about?
The Flash is loosely based on the Flashpoint story from the DC Comics. In the original, Barry Allen travels back in time to prevent his mother’s murder. One of the main uses of the superhero’s time travel in the upcoming DC movie is to open up a Spider-Man: No Way Home-esque multiverse.
This allows DC heroes such as appear in The Flash Michael Keaton’s Batman from the Tim Burton films and Ben Affleck’s Batman from the Zack Snyder movies again. Man of Steel villain General Zod is also allowed to say hello again. In addition, you see in The Flash, among other things, the introduction of Sasha Calle as Supergirl.
When does The Flash start in German cinemas?
After several delays, The Flash will be released in Germany on June 22, 2023 come to the cinema, in the middle of summer. A month and a half earlier, on May 3rd, Marvel’s superhero competition begins: Guardians of the Galaxy 3.
