New terminal creates around 40 new jobs south of Jönköping

– The terminal in Jönköping is the hub of our Swedish operations. In order to continue growing, we need to increase our capacity in Jönköping with a new terminal, says Hanna Jonasson, director of operations at Bring Sweden in a press release.

The new terminal will be more than double the size of the terminal the company already has south of Jönköping. Bring’s parcel volumes have increased by 250 percent in the last four years and the company needs to expand.

Fossil-free transport

Initially, the new terminal will mean around 40 new jobs, but according to the company there may be more in the long run.

The terminal will have solar cells on the roof and the company’s ambition is for more deliveries to be made with electric vehicles in the coming years.

– We are gearing up to put into use many more electric cars than we have today. We have a clear ambition that says that in two years all our deliveries in Sweden must be fossil-free, so at the new terminal there will be more charging points than at any other terminal we have in Sweden, says Hanna Jonasson.
