As Deadline reports, a pilot episode for the new Suits series has now been commissioned. The offshoot is a kind of spin-off under the title Suits LA and NBC has ordered a first episode of it.
Suits: LA is said to revolve around former New York lawyer Ted Black, who now represents the most powerful clients in Los Angeles. When Ted’s company falls into crisis, he has to become the person he once despised. He is surrounded by a group of people who constantly question their loyalty to each other and to Ted.
When is the new Suits series coming?
So far is It’s not even guaranteed that Suits LA will get a full season. Series pilots are usually test projects whose success determines whether the series can finally go into production.
