Teen horror Red Rose is the new Netflix series from the creators of Sex Education
Red Rose is one Co-produced by Netflix and BBC Three. The eight-episode first season premiered in the UK in summer 2022 and is now available internationally on Netflix. Behind the series is the production company Eleven Film, which already produced the series hit Sex Education for Netflix.

The series was developed by brothers Michael and Paul Clarkson, who previously worked on the Netflix horror series Haunted Bly Manor worked as screenwriters and co-producers. The cast consists mainly of relatively unknown young actors. However, Netflix fans may recognize actress Isis Hainsworths from the teen comedy Metal Lords.
Another main character is embodied by Amelia Clarkson, who previously starred in the Viking series The Last Kingdom, among others. Horror fans can also look forward to an appearance by The Terror actor Adam Nagaitis, who will also be seen in the upcoming The Walking Dead spin-off starring Daryl Dixon.
