Even the most tearful goodbyes don’t have to be forever. At least that applies to the MCU hit Deadpool & Wolverine and Hugh Jackman. Although the Marvel star actually buried his clawed antihero with Logan – The Wolverine, his big return can now be seen in the third part of Ryan Reynolds’ Deadpool series. The new trailer finally shows him in a new, bright yellow outfit.

Not just Wolverine: Deadpool 3 brings back the gigantic MCU hero
Deadpool & Wolverine is about the clash between the two Marvel heroes who, this time, can only save the world through teamwork. The unscrupulous Cassandra Nova (Emma Corrin) has to be fought, whose machinations include the so-called Time Variance Authority (TVA) from Loki.
As the trailer suggests, Jackman’s Wolverine appears almost more often in the film than Reynolds’ titular mercenary. However, technically this is not the same X-Man as from X-Men – The Movie or X-Men: Future is Past. Rather, an alternative version of the Marvel hero appears here who failed to save his world.
The trailer also alludes to another MCU protagonist: Ant-Man/Scott Lang’s (Paul Rudd) gigantic helmet can be seen in one scene in the film. Exactly how many Marvel characters will appear in Deadpool 3 remains to be seen in a few weeks.
When is Deadpool & Wolverine coming to cinemas?
Deadpool & Wolverine will be released on July 24, 2024 come to the cinema. Shawn Levy, who worked with Ryan Reynolds on Free Guy and The Adam Project, is directing.
