Helldivers 2 is a new online co-op developed by Arrowhead Game Studios and is scheduled to appear on Steam. The combat system is now presented in more detail in a gameplay video.
What is it about? Helldivers 2 is a third-person shooter in which you go into battle against alien life forms in order to free the galaxy.
Together you fight for your freedom as part of an elite unit – the Helldivers – with various weapons and equipment. The developers promise a good co-op system and their best cooperative gameplay to date. If you want to work as a team, it will be important to coordinate, divide your weapons appropriately, assign your roles and be perfectly prepared for battle.
When does it appear? Helldivers 2 will be released on February 8, 2024 on PC/Steam and PS5.

What does the video show? The almost three and a half minute long video shows you gameplay from the fight against the powerful acid titan, commented by CEO Johan Pilestedt and the Arrowhead Game Studio.
The mission shown starts in the spaceship, in which you first have to select your mission using a galactic war map. Then you climb into the “Hellpod”, a small capsule that transports you and your comrades to the selected planet.
In this video you visit one of many planets. The deadly acid titan is waiting for you there. The mission of the elite troops is to eliminate him. In the following gameplay you will be presented with a possible approach to this.
First of all, the acid titan has to be found and on your way across the unknown planet you will encounter a few smaller enemies. However, these can be easily eliminated in a team.
Work as a team to defeat your deadly enemies
The acid titan is a lot bigger and requires a targeted approach and good teamwork from you. Talk to your fellow players and support each other. For example, you can see that you can only reload a rocket launcher with two players.
Every now and then a few smaller opponents get involved in the fight. So pay attention to your surroundings and, if necessary, help your fellow players if they are being chased by a few small creatures. Otherwise you are missing a fighter against the big acid titan. But it might even be a better tactic if one of you takes special care of the little monsters around you.
It can also be seen that after you die, you need a certain moment until you land back on the planet with the Hellpod. In the meantime, your team has to make do with one less fighter.
After each successful mission, rewards await you with which you can improve your ship, your weapons and armor or your tactical equipment.
