Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has undergone a “successful” hernia operation, his office announced early Monday.
According to the chancellery, Netanyahu is “in good health and on the way to recovery” after the quickly decided operation that was carried out on Sunday.
The hernia was discovered during a routine examination at the weekend, after which the decision to operate was made.
