Vasyl Dubkov, one of Alexei Navalny’s lawyers, was arrested in Moscow on Tuesday.
This is what the Russian newspaper Novaya Gazeta, critical of the regime, writes on X.
Opposition politician Navalny died in prison on February 16.
Dubkov is said to have been arrested for “disturbing public order”, according to the newspaper.
He was one of those who accompanied Navalny’s mother, Ludmila Navalnaya, to the town of Salekhard, where they were first informed of Navalny’s body.
Last week news came that Navalnaya was able to see his son’s body.
The Kremlin has steadfastly denied any involvement in the Putin critic’s death, despite widespread accusations from internal opposition and international leaders.
