Nasty Villain lures players to their deaths by creatively using an ability

In MMORPGs there are always people who troll other players. One used an ability in World of Warcraft that was actually intended for PvE mode and thus lured numerous players to their deaths.

There are numerous ways to tease other players in MMORPGs. Some use emotes or the chat for this. Others make players turn into fish.

WoW player Zipprian uploaded a video to YouTube on June 12th of him playing World of Warcraft and trolling other players in PvP mode.

To do this, he uses an ability that allows him to distract and confuse enemies in PvE mode. In PvP mode, however, he causes other players to throw themselves off a platform.

How did he do it? Zipprian plays a villain in WoW by the name of “Dribblyfart”. In the video he stands on a platform and keeps making himself invisible. As a result, the other players who ride past him do not notice him.

But before they could notice him, he uses a Diversion ability, placing it on an area that players are riding through. They then lose control of their mounts and throw themselves off the platform.

The video ends with a player seemingly able to resist the attack. Several users on YouTube find this particularly funny about the video.

“On a hardcore server, the emotional damage would be over 9,000”

How is the YouTube community reacting? The video seems to have made most people laugh. Grogritark writes: “Great, funny video. We need more content like this.” Others write they had to “laugh like a toddler.”

lordtesla9538 writes, “The most important rule of WoW Classic, no matter where you are, there’s always an undead villain waiting for you.” And mattieonutube273 writes, “That’s what it means to be a villain.”

Others suggest doing this on a hardcore PvP server in WoW. janschaffstall8261 writes: “Imagine someone doing this on a hardcore server. Emotional damage over 9,000.”

Why would that be particularly annoying? In hardcore mode, each character has only one life. If a hero dies on the way to level 60, the challenge is considered a failure. This is quite complex in WoW Classic, because the level phase often lasts several weeks.
