NamX HUV wants to revolutionize hydrogen fuel technology

Developed in partnership with Pininfarina, NamX HUV seems to draw attention with its replaceable capsule structured hydrogen technology.

Italy-based design giant Pininfarina, which has been on the agenda of Turkey for a long time with the domestic automobile startup Togg, continues to partner with new ventures. Directly supporting the product range formation of VinFast, Vietnam’s first automobile venture, the company’s new partnership in this field is a multi-regional venture. NamX was implemented with NamX, which is a multi-branch venture like Europe and Africa, which includes a staff of engineers who have worked at Renault in the past years, wants to make a name for itself all over the world with its approach to hydrogen fuel technology. In the focus of this philosophy, the NamX HUV project, which NamX’s chief designer Thomas de Lussac developed in partnership with Pininfarina, is on the way to become a model that is as remarkable as the technology in its infrastructure with its design dynamics.

Pininfarina’s NamX HUV comes with a replaceable hydrogen capsule

The main point that distinguishes the project, whose first details have been shared recently, from all its competitors is a new approach to hydrogen fuel technology. The brand, which prefers to transfer the interchangeability structure, examples of which we see for electric cars today, to hydrogen, aims to achieve this with portable capsules. HUV, which is basically an electric model, wants to transfer the power needed by this system to users more efficiently with hydrogen fuel technology. Explaining the possibility of a range of up to 800 kilometers at a time in the scenario where the capsules are completely full, the NamX team also shared that two different versions are planned for the vehicle for now.

For the entry-level package, there is a scenario where the single electric motor to be positioned on the rear axle will generate approximately 300 horsepower, with this engine, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 in 6.5 seconds and reach a maximum speed of 200 km/h. Values with the second electric motor to be included in the front axle with a top package; approximately 560 horsepower, 250 km / h maximum speed and 4.5 seconds 0-100 is reflected in the technical table. It is noteworthy that a price range ranging from 65,000 euros to 95,000 euros has been shared for the NamX HUV, where 2025 is set as the target for the production and sales process. The first physical demonstration of the model, whose pre-order process started hours ago, will be held in October as part of the Paris Motor Show.
